Water Feature’s Increase Home Value
Recently the value of our home has gone down so much that the option to purchase a newer home is no longer on the table. This home that we are currently in was only suppose to be a starter home. We have one child who is off to school, so the desire to purchase something larger is no longer an issue. We simply want a fresh look.
While vacationing in Palm Springs our eyes set on visions of water features. They all showered us with a cool, relaxing, refreshing sense of calm.
This idea of bringing in a local pond builder appealed to me for the therapeutic value but, my husband seemed to see the elimination of yard work. Brilliant! Now that water feature design has our attention and our wheels are spinning we notice the presence of water features everywhere!
A small scale one in our doctors lobby, another at the front of our favorite cinema , one infront of the high rise down town, another at our daughters college and finally , closer to home , we see that a local resident has attempted to place an artful fountain with palm trees and lighting right out front where we can admire as we pass by. Its apparent that this is going to cost us some money. Our project is not one that we can do our self but we found a great source for Online Pond Supplies.
The idea that we have is far too elaborate and requires skilled engineers , plummers, electricians and even botanist. Though this is not an inexpensive venture this is one that we will enjoy for the rest of our lives. Adding an elaborate water feature to our home will add value and so much appeal should we decide to sell in the future.
